Welcome!
Welcome to the RISE Integrated Preschool in Reading Public Schools! Our program is comprised of over 100 preschool students in 10 half- and full-day classes. Our classrooms are located in Reading Memorial High School, Killam Elementary School, and Wood End Elementary School. Our dedicated staff includes Early Childhood special education teachers, paraprofessionals, specialists, related service providers, school nurse, and support staff.
All staff members are committed to helping our students have a successful early learning experience! We work tirelessly to develop social-emotional learning skills, provide academic challenges in which every student achieves their personal best, and create a safe and supportive learning environment. We do this by fostering positive relationships, collaborating with teachers and families, and providing high quality instructional experiences. As a school, we focus on building active and engaged learners, and follow our RISE core values of respect, inclusion, safety, and effort.
The RISE Integrated Preschool provides a language-rich, multi-sensory, developmental approach to teaching and learning for students with and without disabilities. All students benefit from learning with and from each other under a philosophy of inclusion and developmentally-appropriate practices.
